like the city can't hold us

Three months ago this place was just a whole new city for me where I had never been and neither thought I would REALLY some day live.

                

I liked it a lot and thought it would be really nice to start a new life in here if I'd be able to get to study the subject I applied to, special education.
We did a wee roadtrip with my boyfriend, had lots of fun but it just didn't feel right, I was too unsure.

         

But now, things have changed A LOT and I can really call this place Joensuu and I can really call Joensuu home.
Almost. Just need the other person to move here too but it really is nice, beautiful and wicked.
Weird, far away and small but small enough, fun and open-minded.
Everything's good here !

AAND I have actually really started the univercity-studying !
Stressing but motivating !

I'm really hopeful for this city and for our life in here !
Joensuu, I like you a lot. Let's keep this up !
And don't you people ever let any expectations keep you away from anything.
 Go with the flow, go where the straight way don't go and it may lead to some of the best things ever !

We danced with monsters through the night

There are no other words to describe one weekend about a month ago than these lyrics in this song

I hear it calling outside my window

 It was the last weekend of July and we DID lose control. 
Somehow it turned out to be the best weekend of the year, AGAIN.
 Eventho some of us didn't quite feel the same all the time

Above all this, one of us took the boredomness, "ihatemylife"fullness and "youallaresodamnboring"ness to a whole new level.
I would like to pronounce the " THE MOST BORING PARTY OF THE YEAR" - Queen of the year, S !
We are all playing a drinking game and not so quietly laughing, screaming and yelling at each other, pretty much looking like this

whereas this lady SLEEPS.
 Really, SLEEPS !! In the middle of all of us
Like sees dreams and all that.
Honestly, S, my party was THAT bad?!

But we can't really blame S, I have to admit.
Or at least this S, the other S was the blame of all that tiredness and other consequenses like these that we don't take any resbonsibility of and have actually no idea of

The other S was SANKTIO, the legendary mysterydrinktradition from last year.
Once again, if one did something wrong, left something undone, did something, dropped something, BROKE SOMETHING etc. etc., had to take 3 sips from mysterious bottles that the LADY OF THE RESIDENT had done again.
 I can tell that they were, again, horrible and good but mostly really horrible.
Especially after resting the night and you had to be the one to take the mornings first SANKTIO.
This drink keeps the partypeople on their toes and under control..or the opposite.

And like every developing entreprenurship, we have to re-create and evolve every year to get and stay as the best weekend of the year.
Three years in a row now the weather has been on our side likewise the temperature of the seawater so we have to take care of everything else.
This year the live-crew boys had SANKTIO 2.0 - update with them.
SANKTIO- BONG it was called and litres and litres of beer, Jägermeister and cider was poured WITH PRESSURE to our mouths.

Despite of all these punishments and else, we had an awesome weekend once and for all !
There's no denying eventho I'm sure I'll get wicked and close friends from university, this clan will stay in my heart and mind always.
And to be sure of that, I can't do anything else but to throw out this partyBOOM every year 'til eternity.
The last weekend of July, now and forever.
