100 movies that everyone should see before they die

Because movies get people together, they raise thoughts and they are nice to watch with your friends/partner/family, we decided with The Boy that we'd find a list from the internet about movies that really are worth watching and should be seen by everyone.
Most of because then we can talk about them very grown-ups-style and think we've seen very good movies.

I don't say Ashton Kutcher comedies which I otherwise watch all the time, are not good movies.
They are the best. ANYWAY, we founded this list and decided to take it because it was quite new and there was some new movies in it too. There has been good movies made in recent years. So everything started with
n:o 70, KILL BILL I

We were suppose to check the movies in the ranking order but we just happened to watch Kill Bill prob a day before we started this project so we decided to count it in.
As many of these movies, I had seen Kill Bill before but it is a really good movie.
It has a creative story line behind it and it is talently written.
I like how you found out things about the past as the movie goes on. And there's heaps of blood and yuckky scenes but they are done ssooo over-the-top so they are more art than just blood.

So deserved it's place in this list ! Then I headed to Myyrmäki's movie-shop where people can sell their old movies. I thought from there I could found some of those not ssoo mainstream movies.
I didn't remember any of the movies in the list so I just grabbed one that I thought looked familiar and could be on the list. And so it was

The Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind

I didn't even know Kate WInslet( yes, from Titanic) was in this movie.
She did an amazing role-job as a weird but beautiful female-headact. And as a male-head was Jim Carrey (yes, the rubber-face) and if I didn't know he was in this movie, I prob would've even realised it was him ! He did a good job too.
My first thought were that "this is weeeird.." but not in the worse "weird"way.
Once I realised what was the main idea, it started to make sense and the spontaneus, lovely and real-feelings-full relationship of these two came to the main centre.

And that's what I liked a lot about the movie. The realtionship was REAL. It was bad at a time, it was real good, the girl felt she was ugly, the man was lost..and they did spontaneus stuff.
It was a bit like pre-version of 500 Days of Summer(which also happens to be in the list..)
So I really do recommend this movie ! A bit confusing and distressing but still good : )
And deserved it's place in the list.

A good sponsor of our project is my friend Hippie who prob owns more than half of these movies. She practically lives IN movies..
So I hope we could borrow some from her, especially the start of the list, the Godfathers : ) But now, we'll see what's the movie of the night.
And yea it's winter in here. Today was prob the last day of driving the open-roof-car. A beautiful sunset and me driving in the motorway, blasting music.
Especially in the traffic lights of Klaukkala and the song from Blue, One love.
Really good memories.

catching up

normal day in my hoods.

Some days you just have so much fun looking at animals that doesn't live in your house.
Animals that may not even live in the wild anymore because of humans. Just gorgeous animals !!

The top-moments of the day were:
1. Red panda
2. Emu-fight
3. The turning head of an owl
4. The scraming voice of a otter
Well and 5. the company

Then it was the b-day of Annika, so wicked party on a Monday night. Haha.

Magic Mike and his mates

did their magic on me and my cell-phone didn't work anymore after our movie-night with Hippie.
Then it was party again and quite shortly after that, the much waited autumn holiday and another high-school party, theme this time, black and white !
No photos which I think tells it all.

Stockholm was good, tough tho.

Made some new friends

Had a wicked time with heaps of Swedish people

And went to these disgracefully terrible food markets where I couldn't ever imagine myself being a local person.

So very nice holiday with mamaaa but I catched the flu again and I still have it.
Which isn't too much fun.
This week I've tried to take it easy to get over the flu and managed quite well.
Watched a movie(again) that everyone should see

A lot like love

And there's been other movies watched too but I'll tell about them more in an own entry. It's a goodie !

dance again !

Heyy you lot, just a quick note to say that no, I haven't left you eventho there's been rumours around, that I have but no, that's not happening !

I've just been on a holiday..or just studying..or just been doing nothing.

But anyways, I have a autumn holiday now and we are leaving for a mom-daughter weekend to STockholm with my mum just in few minutes. So that's cool !

One thing that's not so cool is the headache I still have because of last night and high-school party which theme was black&white. Had a aaawesome time with my girls but too less sleep again and then the feeling when you just HAVE to leave the bed, no excuses. That's when the ugly truth comes out and you barely can talk. Hahah but yea, more text and photos coming up next week, have a good one !

ROBIN !

This Friday concludes my holiday, Robin's new album is out !!!
I have been waiting for this a while now, he's just so good, as I've told you before  !! : )  These new songs and their lyrics, I can relate them to my life too and just party them in my car.
And the best thing was that last March when I passed my driving licence test we went to celebrate it to this finnish restaurant Hesburger in Martinlaakso. There was an own meal for Robin and you got his first album when buying the meal so that's also how my fan-thing to him started.
And there we also started the Raavikko family - thing. I don't even remember how it started, somehow we just talked that we should also be a family to relate with the other customers there by that time so we decided that me and Tuomas were the parents and Anna&Teri were our daughters.
Then in the next party some wickedly way our mate Paavo became the father of Tuomas and I was the mother...I know, we don't have a life in the media-line of our high-school. And later on also Hippie joined our family as a long-lost half-cousin who now has a secret affair to the father of Tuomas (of course not in real life!) . Don't ask.
So today we were celebrating Robin's new album in this same restaurant and it was really nice and fun : )

I'd love to refer to some of his new lyrics but they are in finnish and quite haaard to translate to English. But they are about having a crush (again, how cute :)), chilling out with mates, taking care of siblings(<3<3) and my favourite so far, a song that tells about this girl who does things spontaneusly and doesn't care too much about her make-up : )

But yea otherwise my holiday has been good too, there has been no need to think about school stuff or exams or anything and that was I needed the most ! A wee breathbreak.

I've spend my time mostly in Eastern Helsinki where Da Boy(hahahh all the cool bloggers have code names..) lives and I have been the most fabulous housewife. I cleaned, vacuumed and baked carrotcakemuffins, all this in one day when he was at work ! I know I'm good.
And I survived the task "how to open a can without a can opener" quite well, of course with the support and help in Facebook. That's why I have 600 friends, there's always people to help you with acute problems and offering GREAT ideas..I opened with a chef knife ans a spoon..yea, think about that. Haha. So yea.
But now, have a great weekend and take care of your mates, like me&Robin : ) And watch out for those moose ! (It's a moose hunting season in Finland atm)

"This is song to my friends
For the jokes the most legendary
From those I wouldn't even take our mistakes away
This is a song to my friends
And for the craziest moments
From those I wouldn't even take our mistakes away"
-Robin, Song to my friends
